I am a second-year student at Politehnica Timișoara, in the Faculty of Automatică și Calculatoare, section CTI-RO. I describe myself as an active, hardworking, and sociable person, looking for new teams to share ideas and gain new information. My main goal is to learn new concepts in Computer Science, practice, and improve the skills I have learned so far.

Work Experience

Liga AC Labs - Smart Parking Systems

Magna Electronics Romania • April 2025 - June 2025

I took part in a hands-on laboratory project focused on developing an intelligent parking access system based on image processing and embedded control. Key activities included:

  • Gaining familiarity with automotive concepts related to image processing, motor control, and LCD interfacing
  • Developing image processing algorithms using Python
  • Programming in Embedded C for controlling motors and displaying information on an LCD using Arduino
  • Integrating sensors and actuators into an embedded system
  • Working with databases to manage access events and user information

A showcase of my recent work and achievements

!Shazam on FPGA

Two of my colleagues and I decided to do a project for one of our courses, Digital Logic. We created a song recognizer, based on Shazam, that can identify songs and store them in a database. We enhanced our knowledge of FPGA development and circuit logic design.

DSPLabs

My colleague and I decided to undertake an embedded project at DSPLabs. We successfully developed a driver for the MPU6050 sensor using microcontrollers such as the LPC2148 and LPC2294. We co-authored an article that is currently under peer review.

Certification Project

For my Certification Project, I presented my work during the FTC 2021-2022 competition. I served as the leader of the software team and was responsible for programming the robot. During this period, I learned OOP in Java and how to synchronize hardware with software.
